It's a jersey giant barred rock cross. It's from one of the eggs I incubated from my flock.

I can't put another cockerel in with Squatch and HeiHei, I don't want fighting or the girls to get over mated. If we had 5ish acres they could roam on, I would consider it.

Ahh okay. The boys having lighter barring thing might not apply then since it is a mix?

I still remember when my other hatch had wattles at day 10 they're all gone now except the 3 I kept.

I haven't even named any of my chicks because if they're a cockerel I don't want to attach a name to them

Now I can't wait for these to grow! They haven't even laid an egg yet and I'm ready for them to breed My Delaware jersey giants crosses came out white with black markings with slate colored legs... That was something I wasn't expecting.

7000 sq ft but I still don't think it's wise to throw 3 boys together and stress the girls out. I'm actually making it even bigger in a few weeks. That's my birthday gift to myself

Anatomy lab was so much fun today. We got issued our cadavers and our dog is an absolute monster.
He's this unneutered bloodhound that's easily 120lb, maybe more with all of the fluids. The TA's kept coming around to comment on how huge he was lol. Wish I could get a photo.

Are the cadavers animals donated by vets and/or owners?

@Kiki here are my two seeds...and my experiment in loading photos. The left showing roots beginning to grow. And the second is how I sprouted the roots. The container sits in the kitchen window facing east. I keep 1/2 inch water in the tub and change it daily. Two of those huge Avacado seeds are sprouting too.

To post I used the attach files symbol and checked pictures in my iPad photo album. Clicked done and the pictures loaded....same way I did it before the new changes.

Anyone want to guess on sexes?

Yellow and Little Richard (red) in the back with Fuzzy in front. Approaching 6 weeks.

Fuzzy has gotten bigger than Little Richard.

I still say 2 females and 1 male. When do you think you’ll know for sure, time wise? Are NNs normally difficult to sex, like silkies can be? Or are they pretty straight forward once hackles and saddle feathers start coming in? Or of course the telling crow.
