From what? There's no sign of pain at all. I'm sure there would be a lot of distress if it was in pain. It's acting like everyone else. It just has deformed eye lids and a blind eye, I don't think that would cause any pain. It's probably in pain.
Yes, a baby orchid mantis. Is that a mantis?
It is gorgeous! What does it eat? Does it have a name yet?Yes, a baby orchid mantis.
Yours? And if it is, where did you get it?Yes, a baby orchid mantis.
We have been calling her Orchid. Terribly unoriginal but I think it's already stuck lol.It is gorgeous! What does it eat? Does it have a name yet?
I think you might've missed this post?Yours? And if it is, where did you get it?
We went with my MIL to a reptile convention yesterday. She bought me a new pet.
It's a little baby orchid mantis.
In return I killed one of her hens for her.
It was one of mine that I gave her after hurricane Harvey destroyed my coop. She had been sickly for some time and I suggested culling and starting the rest on tylan 50. She asked if I could do it after dinner and now FIL is calling me the grim reaper.
Anyway. Still waiting for a coronavirus update. The death toll is rising.
I wouldn't be one of the people that answer your questions. I spend my elevator rides looking at the elevator information on the safety certificate, trying to figure out which model it is.I like stepping into a crowded elevator and not turning around. Everyone is looking at me. I'll also start asking questions and see who answers. [you aren't supposed to do that!] Too funny.
I will walk up to strangers and ask questions. I've met some interesting people. Most everyone in the building knows me by sight, if not name. I get to mentor people and push them past their comfort zones. Some squirm, but they all learn in a friendly, encouraging environment.
Like Alfred says, "What?!? Me worry?"
Honestly, I can't tell much of a difference. There's a slightly different texture.. maybe. What's the difference in taste between chicken and duck eggs? I've never had duck before
Yeah I did miss it, sorry.I think you might've missed this post?
How long do they live?We have been calling her Orchid. Terribly unoriginal but I think it's already stuck lol.
Right now she's eating fruit flies but when she's full grown she will be able to eat butterflies, moths, etc.
She's so cute. I would kill for this insect.![]()
