It’s honestly cheaper than it would have been buying it and it has the warranty and maintenance and everything haha

Yeah but I’m not sure if I want to own it. I’m sure eventually I’ll buy a car but I don’t know what kind I want or whatever yet so I didn’t want to commit.

Plus I like getting a new one and all the safety features and stuff every so often. And they depreciate. Also this stays under warranty and I don’t have to do any maintenance or anything which is better for me.

Also that lease in the example is really expensive. We got this one for only like $270 a month and only like $3000 down so it was a really good deal and I am happy with it.

It might be smarter long term to buy but I don’t want to do that right now and also it probably would have cost at least $500 a month which since I’m paying for it myself this time, I really can’t afford anyway.

Also since I mostly just go around town and stuff and not really on any big trips, the mileage isn’t an issue for me. I was way under with the last one.

Used is always cheaper. As soon as you drive a car off the lot it depreciates a lot.

Yes but I didn’t really want used and also they would have charged us a bunch of money if we didn’t lease another one. Not that that’s the only reason I did but still.

Leasing don't you just pay for a vehicle you'll never keep and you have certain restrictions like mileage and such.

Yes but not everybody wants to own the car or stick to one type or whatever. For me, right now, I like getting a new one every so often and getting all the latest safety features and stuff. Also the mileage is not an issue at all for me. In fact, for me, leasing is better because I don’t put tons of miles on cars and mostly just go around town and some highway. I don’t do big trips or anything and was way under the allotted miles last time.

Now, for someone like my brother who has driven all over the country and got the low mileage... it probably would have made more sense for him to just buy it because he was pretty close to or over his mileage. But I was nowhere near mine.
