Yes I know but there are benefits to it too. Like not having to deal with the maintenance and it still being under warranty the whole time. And being able to get a new car every few years for pretty cheap. I know those aren’t really enough reasons for some people or seems stupid or whatever but for me it’s the best option right now. I didn’t want to buy a car and lots of other people don’t either. There are advantages and disadvantages to both and personally I would rather not deal with owning a car right now.

And just as an example, one advantage is the brakes and tires were starting to go on the last car, the tires were very very worn, practically no tread left, and I also had just gotten a flat recently... I got to just hand the car in instead of having to replace all of the tires and brakes.

For me, that’s a huge advantage right now.
Keep deluding yourself.

In 1998 I bought a truck. I paid off the loan that was against my own money in two years. I have not made another vehicle payment for 20 years. Think of how many thousands of dollars it would have cost me over those twenty years if I had been throwing money away on lease payments. Yes there are maintenance costs but they are nothing compared to constantly paying money out for something that you do not own.

If leases weren't great many makers for the leasing companies, they would not offer them.

He's 24 😂 2 years younger than her

Yes but young for the NFL lol that’s more what I meant.

Hello... She doesn't worry about in the car payment.

Ummm... yes I am lol

What do you mean?

She thinks I don’t pay it and she’s right, I didn’t the last car but I am this time. Things are different now. Hell, I insisted lol my mom tried to tell me I don’t have to pay or could just pay the insurance but I want to pay. And I’m giving my dad half the down payment too. He said I only have to do $1000 but I’m gonna give more.

What is the shock for? Lol

That Aquaman commercial 😂😂😂 I can't :lau :lau :lau that was funny

I missed it. :hit

Well then I pick the California team.

:lau

Well now that I caught up I see she will be making the payment for this car.
What I meant was she never worried about making a car payment before.

Yes but you didn’t have to assume it would be the same this time lol things are different now. I’m actually trying unlike before. I actually insisted on paying it myself.

@KDOGG331 Congratulations on your new car.
Don't make payments late....ever.
:old

Keep it clean too.

Thanks! And I won’t haha although technically it’s under my dad’s name for now and I’m just going to give him the money for the payments. But I’ll be on time.

And yeah I definitely will. I was bad with the other one about just throwing stuff in the back. gonna be super careful with this one.

Awww! Really does look like it got bit off

I’m not deluding myself lmao I am well aware of all sides of it and I have zero desire to own a car right now. Leasing is best for me atm. Not everybody wants the same things. And even my parents prefer to lease atm. That’s perfectly fine. Not sure why everyone’s trying to shame me and act like I’m such an idiot for wanting to lease lmao I’m well aware of everything and chose this. I’m fine with it. Don’t care if anyone else is or not. It’s my life.

Also cars are a hell of a lot more expensive now than they were back then. No way you’d be able to buy one outright or pay it off that fast now.

Yes I would own the car at the end if I bought it but I’m paying for it myself this time and really don’t want to pay $500 a month right now. Especially when I’m not even sure if that’s the car I’m going to want longterm or if I’m even going to want a car in a few years. I might move into the city in which case I wouldn’t even need one and buying one would be stupid. Every situation is different.

And for the record, apartments are stupid as hell too but yet it seems to be the expected thing to do atm. Personally for me though that’s why I’m trying to live at home as long as possible because I’d rather just save and buy something but I also want to leave ASAP so we’ll see.

I heard about a group of guys who are starting a band and they named themselves Duvet.

It's a cover band.

One of the 3 year old Leghorns developed Ascites. Swelled like a balloon, poor girl. Couldn't believe the amount of fluid that came out. Lots of little pebbles in the oviduct. I'll post pictures in the other thread later.

Butchered 2 other Leghorns and both were covered up in fat. Fatty liver also. These hadn't started laying this year after the molt. I was blaming the squirrels for eating all the feed. Maybe not. Last Leghorn is laying regularly.

Point of view please. Is it better to butcher the new pullets or the turning 2 this year hens? I hatched the pullets and intended them for meat, but they are pumping the eggs out. 9 out of 12 eggs daily. Way too much for us.

Im going to butcher the new ones not the old ones, but that's just my preference.

The pullets would be more tender, but the hens (I’m told) are more flavorful—they do need a slow moist cooking method though, for chewableness. If the eggs are what you want, keep the best pullets and butcher the rest.
Agree.

Agree.

Both sides of the coin sounds tasty. Leaning to half n half.
