Also cars are a hell of a lot more expensive now than they were back then. No way you’d be able to buy one outright or pay it off that fast now.

Bad assumption. Because I did not waste years of payments for nothing in return, I can easily pay cash for a new vehicle if I wanted to.

I don't know something on the inside isn't right. I hurt so bad right now. Every breath hurts. I do know that this hospital will take good care of me because all of the nurses know me. They bring me treats and watch TV with me I'm considered my doctor's favorite patient. He's not happy I'm worse. I was good this morning then tonight I just wasn't okay anymore like I recaught what I already had. I don't even think that's a word but I don't care right now.

That’s great you can afford it though. I definitely couldn’t right now and don’t want to anyway.

And clearly you’re not fine with it though because you keep saying what a waste of money it is and implying that I’m wrong for it. Just said it like 3 more times in this post alone. I get it. You think that. That’s cool. For me, leasing is better right now and yeah, I won’t own it at the end but honestly I’d rather get another new car anyway.

I wasn’t necessarily saying it was less expensive. Just that there are benefits to it.

Maybe those aren’t benefits to some people and that’s fine but for me they’re huge.

I don’t want to deal with maintenance and buying new tires and all that stuff. Not because it’s expensive but because I don’t feel like dealing with it right now.

Maybe one day I will, maybe even in a few years after this lease runs out, but not now.

And I don’t think that’s a problem. Plenty of people lease. It’s not weird or wrong and there’s no better or superior way or right way or wrong way. Everyone has their own reasons for doing things a certain way.

And if leasing a car is such a waste, then is moving out also a waste? I mean, might as well just burn my money, right? Should just stay here for forever till I can afford to buy a house since renting an apartment is such a waste.

Well sometimes with the flu it can cause respiratory symptoms or even pleurisy and pneumonia and stuff. Both hurt like hell. But obviously better to get it checked it out with your health issues and stuff. I hope it is okay!! And gotta take it slow with the recovery cause even if you feel okay, won’t be fully recovered right away.
