Are store bought pickled beets cooked?
If I buy fresh raw beets how do I turn them into pickled beets?
Or what do I do with them... The fresh raw ones... Can I eat them raw or do I have to cook them?
This was one of my chores today.... the 200 eggs I boiled and shelled yesterday!!!I think pickled beets are cooked. I definitely would not want to eat one raw. Pickled or roasted are both good imo
Wow! You have been busy! This was one of my chores today.... the 200 eggs I boiled and shelled yesterday!!!

I've dyed some loom loops for a special potholder order for one of my DILs. Plus been working on the order as well, 8 potholders!!! Dyeing is a long process, they'll be going into the dryer soon. Hopefully they're still forest green after their rinse cycles in the washer! Weather has sucked today so I've done the bare minimum outside, ie. feed, water, gather eggs....
