Are store bought pickled beets cooked?
If I buy fresh raw beets how do I turn them into pickled beets?

Or what do I do with them... The fresh raw ones... Can I eat them raw or do I have to cook them?

I think pickled beets are cooked. I definitely would not want to eat one raw. Pickled or roasted are both good imo

Official end 9.7 prolly be 10 after chickens

Wow! You have been busy!
I have done other stuff too! Lol!

I've dyed some loom loops for a special potholder order for one of my DILs. Plus been working on the order as well, 8 potholders!!! Dyeing is a long process, they'll be going into the dryer soon. Hopefully they're still forest green after their rinse cycles in the washer! Weather has sucked today so I've done the bare minimum outside, ie. feed, water, gather eggs....

I kinda hate peeling eggs so I am always super impressed by you folks that peel and pickle them by the hundreds.
