If you’re already suffering from or even unbeknownst to you thus far, vulnerable to seizures, then stress could certainly cause them. My son suffered from seizures, and sickness or stress did seem to bring them on, just as it could bring on an asthma attack or a heart arrhythmia in a person prone to those things. Most people react negatively to being shoved into a big tube. That’s just instinct. It’s not surprising to see stress responses of all kinds.

It's not what caused it. With everything else going on in my body the Drs told her to stop saying it because it wasn't the cause. I'm thinking the pump beeped saying that I wasn't getting my meds and somebody hit the wrong button and gave me a bolus of my medication.

My friend gets them when she gets too happy/excited/hyped up oddly so I can see how hyped the opposite way would cause them too. Are they managed now?

Those machines scare me. I once had to go in one when I had a head injury but I don’t really remember it. I was pretty little.

Well the nurses didn't want to be blamed. It wasn't my nurses it was the radiology nurses. I won't ever do another MRI I'm traumatized now.

Makes sense I guess but still a bit unprofessional to say to the patient! Say it to the doctors in private if anything.

Uh oh! That’s no good! Although I’m sure it would be fine now that they’ve got everything under control? And they would probably monitor you a lot more closely now. Gotta make sure there’s nothing serious wrong. Though I don’t blame you for not wanting to do it tonight or ever. But maybe you will feel differently in the morning.
