I know people who use ducks in their garden... But maybe geese are worse.

I think folks who use ducks also use raised beds. As for geese, people do use them for weeding, but I’m not clear on the specifics. Geese are vegans like you, but maybe you train them by not giving them any veggies you want to grow in the garden (and not growing strawberries or other irresistibles.) I suspect they’re more useful in orchards or similar.

that won’t happen. I just like looking at the websites and seeing what they have.

Besides, I don’t think you can order from the feed stores online. Have to call or do it in person. Which I don’t want to do.

Also, I know I can only fit a certain number of birds and am sticking to it this time. So I would have to cancel the hatchery order if I want any feed store chicks since the coop only holds so many.

But I know sometimes the feed store ones can be less healthy/handled a ton by lots of people so I don’t think I want to do that.

I’m mostly just browsing and I really think I will cancel the hatchery order too but idk yet.

That said, the one feed store carries Russian Orloffs so....

My turkeys have no idea what a Japanese beetle is. I have never seen one in Wyoming.

Nah not yet. You have to call to do it. And I’m still going back and forth because I really want those breeds, especially the one, and I’ll have the coop by then but I also know it’s kind of stupid to get more birds when I’m trying to move soon and my parents also don’t really want more so idk.
