 that’s so many dogs! Lots of ponies too but dang that’s a ton of dogs! Big ones too!
We had a kennel. Showed in AKC confirmation most weekends spring through fall. Had imported a male puppy from Switzerland, 1k for one puppy in mid '70s.
Sold puppies as far away as Japan. Show quality puppies sold for 150....a few for 300, plus airline shipping. One Christmas season every female bred had puppies, 150 puppies, all sold before Christmas. Almost all were sold to individuals for showing. We had a long wait list.

So I slept from 9 p.m. to 830 a.m today. I know I got up a few times and started reading The Hobbit, but I would read about 2 pages and pass out again.

Husband is getting the brooder ready in the shed so that we can move these chicks out because they are flying over the box 😂 I found a chick out yesterday, it was hiding under the table.

I just ate 3 pieces of pizza 😂 it's leftover from yesterday just pizza with sauce mushrooms, onions, green peppers, black olives, and no cheese. So my appetite is back even though that's probably the only thing I'll eat today, but better than two bites like I was doing at the hospital.

Oh wow! Sounds like it was a successful/popular kennel. That’s awesome!!

And whoa you’d never be able to find a dog for that now.

Except that $1000 is expensive, almost $5000 now!?

From age 10-14 I babysat. From 14-16 I worked in a bakery at stop and shop. From 16-19 I worked at a dog kennel and vet office. From 19-22 I worked at Hyundai dealership running the sales department. Then I had a heart attack and got idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension so I was told I'll never work again... So now I'm a stay at home mom, which I think is harder than any job I ever had 😂 I would love to work again, but I'm 33 and there's no improvement on my health... So Dr still says no especially with my IV meds

I forgot I did used to babysit some but I only did it a couple times and mostly for the neighbors. Cat-sat a couple times too. And my brother actually used to have a dog walking business* but he was usually busy so my mom and/or I used to it. I did it quite a bit of the time actually. All of that was like middle school/early high school.

And hey! Stop & Shop! Those aren’t around anywhere else I don’t think haha

And I hope you can again someday. :hugs

*Well, more of a helper/help with anything you need type business like taking stuff to dump or lifting or random tasks etc. one neighbor needed a dog walker.

I'll never be able to work again, but oh well. Only way I could is if I got a double lung transplant, but My doctor says at this point he doesn't want to put me through it because he believes that despite having this disease that I can have a better quality of life then I would if I got a lung transplant... With transplant it's a little bit dicey because you're not sure if the transplant will take plus you're not sure how long it will last. Getting a second transplant is even harder than getting a first one.
