➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Btw I know that doesn’t sound that big but usually I’m like “oh I’ll get it tomorrow” and also in the old car I had a bad habit of just throwing stuff in the back.

This one I’m trying to take care of and keep in tip top shape. :D

I even pulled one little shaving piece out of the passenger seat yesterday and have dusted it off several times already. :lau

So that’s why I’m like I’ll just get everything out now. :lau

Plus I’m way more energetic today with all the vitamins and green tea and everything and being outside so much. :lau

Though now I’m starting to crash finally. 😴😴

I seriously think I might just eat and go straight to sleep. :lau

I think today was the fastest I’ve ever gone in and out of a store :lau

I’ve actually been home for like over an hour now haha

I was in and out of the store & loaded in like 5 minutes. Well, maybe 10, cause the lady happened to be from my town and we chatted a bit :lau

But the shavings are right at the front of the store at my TSC so I just walked in, got them, got out. Didn’t use my phone. Didn’t go shopping/walking around aimlessly. Did chat a bit but that’s it.

I actually think the longest part was when I got gas (cause it’s somehow empty already?) and I couldn’t figure out how to open the gas cap :lau ended up parking and reading the owner’s manual and Googling. :lau

Turns out it’s actually super simple but totally different from the other car. There’s no lever. You just push the cap. But I spent a bit looking for the lever. :lau

Ended up just going in and getting my milk first then getting gas haha

Once I figured it out though, it was easy and I got gas and got home.

And once home, I didn’t even let my song finish like usual! I just got straight out.

And then I even brought my trash in AND some CDs I had in the center console since the car doesn’t have a CD player. Figured it’s useless leaving them in. Carried them all the way upstairs to my room.

Then went back out and unloaded all the shavings and brought all 3 bales up the driveway and into the house. Usually I’d leave them but I was on a productive streak :lau

Also didn’t want to negatively effect my gas mileage tomorrow. :D

Now we’re about to eat dinner soon.
So how does your gas get done? Was there a button or something.

:lau how much longer!? Go find the concession stand or better yet, the alcohol stand. :lau
Too much longer.
Finally the mini had had enough and asked if we could go ahead and leave early.
A lot of people started leaving at the same time we did but it wasn't even over.

:lau he asked!? That’s shocking but awesome lol smart kid. :lau although the end is usually the best part but it takes too damn long to get to the end lol so I would’ve left too. :lau

I once went to a demolition derby at the fair with my friends and it was super boring lol but then at the end it got a lot more interesting finally but by then I was bored out of my mind. :lau

I wouldn’t have even gone but they wanted to lol but we did the fair all day first so by then I was exhausted too and wanted to go home :lau

Crock Pot slow cooked 2 Leghorns on low for 8 hours. 3 years old and they were tender and flavorful. I was planning on making soup, but we ate a bit on the side of sweet potatoes. Delicious. Should have added some seasoning, but they were good without it. Tasted like chicken. The flesh was firmer than grocery store and good.

Added the fat from the hens butchered this morning and have a pint of schmaltz.

Yes, I'm reducing rations. These girls aren't going to be happy.

The baby Richards are 9 weeks old. Growing big! Here is Little (red pullet), Fuzzy (Cockerel ain't so little now), and Yellow (smallest, white pullet). What a crew! Getting along with the big girls. Fuzzy is challenging them and backing right down. They are still larger (for now).

Sorry, missed this before. You just go outside and push the corner of the gas cap and it pops open. But the car has to be unlocked so it won’t just pop open by itself or whatever. It’s actually kind of nice. I always hated having to find the lever. :lau the car is push start too.
