➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Ya'll.... you know how I have talked about my neighbor. The one that has a difficult time keeping their cows contained... and their goats... and their pigs. Anywho.... they've been doing a much better job of keeping their animals contained, except when we get a HUGE amount of rain because the cows can push the fencing down or whatever they do. It's mainly 3 particular bulls that we have issue with. Either way, I am extremely grateful since that is a rare thing. Hubby just got a call from the wife a few days ago and asked us if we've seen a porcupine. He said no, why? She has African Crested Porcupines now and they GOT OUT and are in the woods (which separates our properties) and if we see any of them to give her a call and they'll come get them. A little bit later, about 30 minutes or so, we got a call and she said they got them. Turns out, she's investing in all kinds of new animals and the more exotic. Along with the porcupine she has wallaby, fishing cats, and bobcats to go along with her llamas, alpacas, goats, pigs, chickens, peafowl and cows. I think I am forgetting some. I don't care that she has a zoo of animals. More power to her. I am just nervous about the bobcats. :rant At first when my hubby said "fishing" cat, I thought he meant FISHER cat so I was worried about that one as well. But I googled it and there is indeed a FISHING cat. Is on the endangered list. It loves water, has webbed toes for swimming and eats mainly fish and other seafood. With the trouble they've already had housing their animals, I don't know that I trust them to house the cats properly. Why oh why couldn't I have a normal neighbor? :barnie

How's your DH feeling?

He is still moving slow and in a lot of pain but he is feeling a little better. He can lay down to sleep now, instead of having to try to sleep sitting up. His hip is feeling better but his right side and shoulder are still pretty sore from bruising. He is a work in progress. Thank you for asking! :hugs
