Hi, newbie here. What is this thread? I read some early ones and thought I'd jump ahead to the good parts but the last few pages have nothing to do with OP, @Kiki, or hatching balut? Also all the linked posts in the OP don't go to where they are supposed to. But it looks wildy popular?

The links don't go exactly where they are supposed to because they were made before the last update to the forum software. They do get you close to where they originally went.

After the successful hatch of her Balut eggs, the thread morphed into a general chat thread. It has slowed down a little lately.

I was pretending to be Bob this morning... Taking pictures while at the grocery store.
This guy thought it was hilarious that I wanted to take a picture of his shirt.View attachment 2141383


And this one was in line with me at Starbucks.
I'm sure she thinks I'm nuts.
She saw me stop the guy to get a picture of his shirt and then I asked her to take a picture of her shirt.
She bought me my drink.

Hahaha I love the first one. At least you got a free drink out of the deal. I got new funny chicken shirts and some guy was laughing way too hard at my shirt yesterday. All it said was "The rooster may crow, but the Hen delivers"

SO cute! I got rid of mine because they were so loud that I actually considered eating them. FOR REAL. It sounded like screaming children, and it started every time I pulled in the driveway. It wasn't their fault. They just wanted more attention than I could give them. I did find an awesome family with more goats, more space and kids that take them hiking, and do 4H with them. I was all too happy to give them away.

Your babies are adorable. I can't wait for more pics.

I know. I wanted to get a trained dog but it costs a lot of money.

Exactly as @R2elk said. Many dogs are owner trained versus being program trained. From what I understand, it’s more preferred that way since the dog will be more fine-tuned to the owners specific alerts instead of the broad training they get in a program.

They still have to test the dog and such. Mine is almost 11 and she only listens to me no one else. I bring her everywhere. I don’t need to get her certified because I know what she can do. A certificate doesn’t mean much to me since I’m always home and when I travel she comes. We only shop at stores that allow dogs. Groceries I do pick up with her in the car.
