Yep, they are. I've had hens of several different breeds grow spurs, including Buff Orpingtons, if my memory holds.Wasn’t there a brief conversation or at least a mention in here at one time about female Welsummers can get spurs? I’m sitting outside with my chickens enjoying the breeze and I noticed that my Hazel has little nubbies on both of her legs. Those are spurs right?

What is sad is that neither of my boys have spurs but 1 girl does lol. The boys are bantams (Silkie and Booted Bantam) but still.
