Don't know why I got a quote of my comment...
But I've used cast iron for years longer than some of you are old. A well seasoned cast iron piece does not require scrubbing with any thing metal.

Yes!!!! It has taken Mr Muddy and I years to get his main cast iron skillet properly seasoned.....some of my newer stuff still isn’t there yet!!!!

Worked on the camper until after dark last night......trying to get it buttoned up this morning before the monsoons start. Somehow have to figure out cleaning, packing, loading and changing all 4 boat trailer tires this evening
