There is a reason they call it Dill weed. I haven't planted any in many years. It is an annual.

I have asparagus like this not sure how long since it was originally planted but it’s in several areas of the property

I used to have asparagus coming up all over the garden. Now I mow it off in the fall after the ferns die. The seeds pretty much stay in the asparagus bed now. Right now the ferns that are standing upright are over 6' tall which includes the bed that started itself in the lawn area.

My bed in the garden is around 30 years old.
