No, I haven’t. It’s been a long time since I’ve lost any.
Kevin was the one that never laid. She was around 9 months, I think. My silkie had just started laying...she was around a year old.

Why does it seem like everybody names their boys girl names and then their girls a boy name?
Is it just to confuse the older generation?

Bought a cockerel once named Connie. They thought it was a pullet and named it so. Connie was a good boy.

Izzo's fish's name is Princess Gerald. He is a male. That's about as mixed up gender-wise as we've gotten.

I had a boy duck named Jolene. Also a girl chicken named Jolene. And I have a hen named Jeffery.
