The mini is homeschooling this week.
I told him what to use to marinate or season the pork loin roast with, how to plug the ghetto oven in and start it, and how to cover the pan with aluminum foil.



He says he's got everything in the oven and the oven is behaving so far.
His job is to keep an eye on the oven and pay attention to the exact time it turns off if it turns off.

Is it 'marinade' or 'marinate'
I am genuinely asking because I always thought it was 'marinade'.
Or is it 'to marinate' or 'apply marinade'

I'm bird and squirrel watching. I refilled the bird feeder and scattered some seed on a stone.
So far I've seen a female cardinal who is chirping and hopling from limb to limb. The baby squirrels are out of the nest and they are just nuts. I love watching them chase each other around. They are very curious. They look right at me and make strange noises. They sounds kinda like a wood pecker.

Speaking of, there is a woodpecker drinking water out of a hole in a tree.
