⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

yeah before I understood genetics, I had a very difficult time understanding how I was O- when mom was B+ and Dad was B-
That one is easy. Two possibilities, one is that your father was not actually your genetic father or the more likely scenario that both were heterozygous for the B blood type as it is obvious that your mother was heterozygous for both B blood type and the Rh factor.

So was I but I learned it in school.
i did too AFTER that!! we didn’t learn about blood types the same way as earlier generations being post AIDS scare......so I didn’t know my blood type until high school when I gave blood in case my mom needed it when expecting my baby brother.

I'm 40 miles from proper town. Miles add up quickly.
That's exactly what it means.

Elkton proper is 2 miles away. Gas station is open 9-430 Tues-Sat

There's a convenience store. Gallon of milk 4.50 type of place. Handy for those oops moments when two teenage kids drink 3 gallons of milk in a week vs the two weeks it normally takes.

My work commute was 44 miles. Wife's was 62. Hers is now 42 miles. One way.
  4:30!? Only certain days!? I’m used to our 24 hour every day go when you need one. And the fact that there’s actually multiple ones right near here 😂
What happened to Kgod's avatar?
Mech mex fixed it.

The last time I was put under, I can remember someone yelling at me to "Breathe damn it, breathe" as I was coming out of it. It occurred several times before they let me sleep it off.
I've gone completely under anaesthesia once. Given a choice, I'll never do it again. Going under was easy. 10... 9... out.

Coming out of it was another story. I couldn't get warm, there were nurses running around packing me in warm towels. I was nauseous and weak. It was awful.
