⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

If they prenumb the gums, you won't feel it until you feel the burning sensation fro the Novocaine. The Orthodontist that I was seeing didn't believe in prenumbing and I felt every single prick of the needle right along with the burning.
The first time my gums were prenumbed. Second time they weren’t.

I was in a surgery where they put me completely asleep. It’s an experience you never forget. If you’ve never had anesthesia/laughing gas, then you wouldn’t realize just how instant it is. I remember having the mask put on, the horrible smell, trying to pull it off my face but not being able to move, then going numb, and then out of it. I woke up just as instantly. It’s really the strangest thing I’ve ever had to experience.
The last time I was put under, I can remember someone yelling at me to "Breathe damn it, breathe" as I was coming out of it. It occurred several times before they let me sleep it off.

Ooo let’s see! I love grooming my poodle. I just ordered her a new collar too.

I would have trimmed some more but it didn't look awful so I didn't want to ruin it 😂

AB- is the rarest blood type in the U.S. They don't have much need for it because it is rare. They like to have the rare types available on call just in case it is needed. Whole blood has a limited shelf life.

If you have a common blood type such as O+ or A+/- they are more than eager to take your blood regularly. If you are the Universal donor O-, they want as much of your blood as they can get.

AB+ while not as rare as AB- is also not very common and also not highly in demand. The other part about AB+ is that it is the Universal recipient while O- is the Universal donor.
Interesting.
Yep.. I am A+
They sure seemed to want my blood really bad.

and they used to believe that children didn’t feel pain the same (in addition to handpiece technology not being where it is today among other things) which is why so many earlier generations had such traumatic dental experiences. I was extremely lucky that I had an awesome pediatric dentist growing up.

I don't think I've bought D batteries in over 10 years.

so I'm not going to worry about trying to make them last longer because I think these eight batteries I just bought will probably last me another 10 years.
Brand matters
I would buy only energizer. Dollar store batteries no. Case in point I bought some (energizer) for a shaver one time and of course when I got home my wife says oh we have a brand new packs. Well we did but dollar store batteries. Put hers in cause I would have took my expensive ones back lol. They made my shaver sound like it had a rechargeable battery that was dying. I thought my shaver was messed up so I tried mine anyway and it came to life like it should. Both brands brand new.
Also I actually had to take a class for one of the things I do in my profession that require a battery to be installed and to have a backup battery also installed. Every 6mo. The back up battery is switched with the main battery and a new back up battery installed. This is done semi annually. I had to learn about how batteries work and the different types and what and how they are made. Mostly centered on 3.6 lithium 10 year batteries (near zero self discharge) and 6v nickel-cadmium (what one would call old school rechargeable batteries) but learned alot about all. The refrigerator freezer theory was correct BUT it was correct for the zinc electrode (alkaline) battery before technology made them more resistant to heat which in turn made them self discharge at a faster rate than if they were cool. Today the risk outweigh the benefits of placing batteries in the fridge or freezer
