⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

oysters won’t be in til around 4.....so it’s beerthirty and still working on the bathroom 🤣 i didn’t feel like going out to the shed so i stole one of DS six foot strawberry blondes 🤣🤣🤣
have i mentioned how much I loathe remodeling!!! 🤣🤣🤣 we should’ve ripped everything out and paid someone to start over from scratch 🙈🙈🙈 mr muddy is too much of a perfectionist and it’s NEVER gonna be done at this rate!!

yeah I had a bad experience around age 5 too but managed to overcome it and became blood donor and class pin cushion for both my hygiene class and dental class......somehow needles in the mouth seem to be way scarier to most peeps than even blood draws
I was a blood donor for years until I pointed out to the blood drive organizer that they really didn't want my rare blood. After she checked it out, she quit asking me to donate.

Needles in the mouth used to terrify me so much that for many years I had dental work done without Novocaine.

That too, but the actual sticking of the needle hurts.
yes there is a certain amount of discomfort with any puncture especially dependent on the type of tissue etc
of course that’s one part of my job that I fully understand first hand as I can guarantee I’ve taken more than I will ever give to a single patient. I do find it funny however when I have a patient with tattoos and piercings that freaks out over local anesthetic 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

???? What's wrong with your blood? If it is rare I would think that would make them want it more.

I donated blood one time and then I got so ticked off because they would not stop calling and emailing me I finally pitched a fit and told them to take me off their list for good.

@KDOGG331 I probably missed something, but what happened to your Avatar?

I believe the person giving the shot makes a difference too.
I hated shots at the place I used to go, it felt like they just punched that needle in.
I have had shots at the place I go now and the pain was very minimal in comparison.

they want my blood, but I no longer donate in general as I prefer it to be available in case a family member or friend is in need. but as a universal donor, mine is in high demand.

AB- is the rarest blood type in the U.S. They don't have much need for it because it is rare. They like to have the rare types available on call just in case it is needed. Whole blood has a limited shelf life.

If you have a common blood type such as O+ or A+/- they are more than eager to take your blood regularly. If you are the Universal donor O-, they want as much of your blood as they can get.

AB+ while not as rare as AB- is also not very common and also not highly in demand. The other part about AB+ is that it is the Universal recipient while O- is the Universal donor.
