Surprisingly not that much with the rubber one! I just dump it and refill it and it stays unfrozen a long time unless it’s really cold out during the day then I do change it more. But it has been pretty “warm” here lately, getting above freezing during the day here, and they’re in the shed so it doesn’t usually freeze again until overnight when it drops back down. And even then it’s super easy! Those waterers you have are a huge pain in the rear and I used to have to practically need an ax to open them

What size is your rubber bowl?Yes! But I don’t like those waterers in general so I have heated dog bowl type things for the chickens. For the quail, I just have a rubber bowl that’s easy to dump out and refill because those waterers you showed are like impossible to open once they freeze
I’m not sure exactly but pretty big. Maybe I’d have to measure it hahah
