yeah the time i got pulled over in Florida was a similar “sting” operation. I was driving across orlando to work on a divided highway and they pulled over about 10 cars that didn’t stop for a school bus on the other side where there was a break in the median. I never even saw the break in the median as i was one of the last cars. I had to do the in-person class as online wasn’t a thing then

I got a speeding ticket in (close your eyes Overo) Sturgis one year. They let me have the option of donating $150 to the local school district instead of paying the $100 fine and getting points on my DL.
I loved that idea.

We had an outhouse at the deer camp. It wasn't bad at all really, but we used quick lime to keep the smell down.
Also you had to go into the mule yard to get to it. Not bad in daylight, but at night it was spooky when you came out and there was a mule standing by the door.

You want to know what else is stupid about this whole thing... I could have just paid the ticket for a certain price which was over $300... But instead I decide to take the class that way I can have the ticket dismissed.
Taking the class and paying some court fee is only saving me about $50.

I just think of all the money the city made from that one day from the cars that got pulled over in that one spot.
