Bambi was back when Disney actually didn't butcher the books they did adaptations of too. That one was really close to the book.

Yeah. Kids want to pet the "cute coyote" or "pretty mountain lion". Several years ago, some idiot was teasing the tiger from the top of the enclosure wall and then sued the zoo when the tiger got pissed off enough to jump up higher than usual and grab him.

Every year Yellowstone has reports of bad animal/human encounters when people decide to get too close to the wildlife.
