⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

@Kiki Here are a few remodel pictures...
Two pictures of the Kitchen after utility grade carpet was removed, then gutted and the new floor going in.

Carpenter repaired floor joists and sill plates and then installed new sub floor.

The new flooring extends into the den, thru the laundry and the adjacent half bath.

It's cold here today.
I'm not worried.
The Mexican will look at it and if I have a nail I know where to go.
Hubby reminded me that over filling the gas tank would cause the engine light to come on. Releasing the gas cap often decreased the pressure in the gas tank and the light would soon go off. Does your panel ever show that?

Planned obsolescence is not a new concept. What is new is how short the span has become.

Sorry about your 20 year old stove. What do you think I should do about my nearly 43 year old refrigerator?

My body long ago reached obsolescence.
Hold on to that fridge for dear life! The ones they make now are crap.

Do tell. What is the monk's preferred nibble?

Do you put peanut butter on your chocolate? Do you chocolate your bread?
I like to dip bananas in cold chocolate pudding.

I am too lazy to look it up but my mother's preferred chocolate for making candy is listed in one of the candy recipes in Grandma's Recipes. It is really good chocolate.

1st off I have never been one to have "ohhhh that's my one and only fav-o-rite *blah blah blah*."
That said, Ghirardelli flavors are almost all worthy nibbles.
X- Raspberry
X- mint
X-sea salt
X- caramel
X- _?_

The big bars I like almost all the flavor combos. There are a few I will not get: ** 55% or under
** "Sugar free"

Chocolate & PB? How can you go wrong?! (Exhibit N)
Creamy PB mixed 50/50 w/nutella

That's a GF flapjack I made a couple nights ago (craisins, coconut flakes, crush pecans)

As for chocolate in drinks....
I like to mix the chocolate almond milk 60/40 with coconut milk. That's as close as I have found to match my memory of chocolate milk from elementary school lunches.

Coffee - thanks to my Better-half...
Gets either baking coco powder or carob powder & a ratio of 1/2 to 1/3 that is some turmeric powder in the mix. Surprisingly good.

I know there is more stuff chocolate related I can banter about later... Gotta feed dogs and me dinner....

Been working on brakes all day in driveway.... Will finish up tomorrow morning.... Had three runs to O'reilly's this afternoon/night.....

100% electric house.
full range/stove/oven thingy that is integrated into the cabinetry.
Turns out it is a custom (smaller that what is available) or no longer made and the new ones that fit the dimensions will stick out 4" more into the walkway.

Options are to fix this one with several cosmetic issues on top of the brain. Or modify the cabinet. Confirming we have enough room to play with first.
This summer/fall I finally upgraded the other house. Original late 70's Cooktop and oven w/micro above have been replaced with a glass cooktop and double oven. The cute little ryobi 18V tools did a serious great job of trimming and editing the original cabinetry.

I can share pics later.....
