I added one light to one cage to try to keep the water from freezing. It's not working.That one is like mine but probably wouldn’t fit in your cage. Not sure how small you can get. But didn’t you run supplemental heat out there one time for the babies? That might be just enough to keep the water from freezing???I know the lamp in my brooder keeps the water warm.
I just checked the radar....looks like all the yucky stuff is over for you guys, so hopefully warmer temperatures to follow soon!!! They’ve changed ours again too.....bad stuff not going to arrive now until around 3pm and forecast is down to 3-5 with an additional 1-3 tomorrow. Everyone was still alive when we fed this morning and first round did not stick to the netting which is good. . Forecasting another 3-8 Wednesday night into Thursday so I will probably cancel Thursday too instead of paying to clear the parking lot again.

I was on the interstate around 9am and the water was starting to freeze. I felt a couple spots and got off 2 exits before mine to use regular roads. Yeah my yard is flooded so ill see how that goes tonight lol. Too bad I wouldn't be able to get my 3 wheeler started it would be awesome on the ice.
