Lol me too because it sure doesn't feel that warm out there.

My chickens' water is always frozen when I go out these days. I bring out a jug of water, smack the waterer against the nearest tree to get the ice out, and refill.
Your mini will be okay, Keeks -- he'll know when he's getting too cold, and will come inside.

My chickens waterer freezes randomly too. I have a heater but every time I set it up it shoots back up into the 50s for a week. I just leave it in the barn overnight when it gets cold, and bring it back in the morning when it’s warm enough outside it won’t freeze.

I'm wishing I had a few right about now.

That one is like mine but probably wouldn’t fit in your cage. Not sure how small you can get. But didn’t you run supplemental heat out there one time for the babies? That might be just enough to keep the water from freezing??? I know the lamp in my brooder keeps the water warm.
