I took a second round of treats out tonight and refilled the smaller feeder while I was checking in on my pair of quail in grow-out! My bunch of crazy birds is definitely a sight to behold! Buttons in 6” snow and parakeets/finches outside in freezing temps

Actually they are more yard candy than anything.
They are seasonal layers but I have still been getting call duck eggs recently even though my standard size ducks have not laid in a couple of months.
We do eat the eggs. They are fine.
Meatwise they are small but no smaller than a quail.

My pheasants decided to roost on what was left of my sail canopy today and finished it off! now it’s just halves swaying in the wind
