Obviously you have never had to drink UHT Milk, ie the Lily zombie Jizz in a box? Being int he navy, the milk we had to drink at times, was much worse. M U C H....

Hubby is Navy too. 5 tours in Viet Nam. Said he wasn’t always sure what they were served as milk....but ”It was nasty”.

We only made it to 30° yesterday but I think today will be the day.

Our temp reached 48 degrees.

Where do y'all keep your indoor brooders? I've seen a lot of people have them in their garage but I would think that they could get overheated or really cold in there?

We have a hot tub bonus room separate from the house. I have my cabinet incubator and several Hovabators in there. Two broilers made from water troughs are there too.
in the barn next to the hen house, I have a brooder room with shelf pens, and a floor pen for grow out chicks.

They are superior to all other breeds.

Loved my Cochin. Hens make great broody mothers.
