Yeah, I thought about using them when I used to want rats and guinea pigs but then I read some article about how it was a ton of work and it made sense cause I had never thought of it before. Having to wash instead of just dumping everything and refilling which takes 5 seconds. Plus the thought of washing poop and pee covered rodent fleece in our human washerI am far too lazy to wash liners, lol. I did use fabric at one point. It was a lot of work.
That makes sense!!! That’s smart.Even within a single town prices can vary quite a bit. I did a lot of research before picking a vet for her.
A lot of the C&C guinea pig cages built with the wire buy coroplast for the sides. I think there’s a sign place down the street from us that probably sells it but idk for sure.I think that was our big problem. Niven’s home base is an XL wire dog crate.
Do the 3D viewI've had guinea pigs before. My friend up on OR has one too.
Eventually we plan to build something larger to replace the crate. But we are busy and she was an unplanned rescue so... we make do.A lot of the C&C guinea pig cages built with the wire buy coroplast for the sides. Brilliant! What kind of litter do you use (just curious)?
I almost got her to get one. The mini is more interested in pigs though.Kiki should get a bunny instead
Aw, I love NDs!Rabbits can be a bit moodier, especially the un-spayed girls. My current Netherland Dwarf, Willow, had pretty severe aggression issues for a few years. We stuck it out and now she's a sweetie.
Thanks for the recommendation!View attachment 2762906
I use this. Pine shavings get stinky fast with urine, this stuff works awesome. It doesn't have to be this brand but it's soft pelleted newspaper.
