I use a bit of peroxide too. Scrape, simmer, scrape, simmer. Heres the finished product.

I told my wife I would take it outside if she thought it smelled too bad. I still can't believe I got away with that one.

I don't always see the fire ants when they crawl up my boot, but I feel them when they find me. Do the red ants bite as bad as these?

Never had fire ants but the big red ants leave nasty burning welts.

Will get my crayons out and color the shovel. Oiling it helped, but didn't last long.

Keep the bucket of oil handy and dip the shovel blade from time to time.
