Poor DH had a nasty scare last night. Went to count and lock up the chickens, saw piles of feathers everywhere and one bird short. Fortunately the missing hen was found roosting in the yard, and the feather piles are from my black ameraucana’s catastrophic molt. Unfortunately, Niven the bunny took full advantage of our distraction and chewed a hole in the sofa cover while we were out dealing with the chickens.

A cold front just passed through my area.

I opened the window and it's only 76 in my room. Wtf kind of cold front is this?

I should have known better than to trust the news man when he said it was going to get cold.
