Last year outside the club I frequently saw a one antlered buck. Right antler was well developed and perhaps 5 points - left was just a spike. Apparently he survived last season as I saw him again two nights ago - right antler well developed in velvet and left just a stub - interesting.
Unfortunately most hunters won't "waste" a tag to take those out of genetic pool
 
Or he's just really smart 😂
That may be the case. There was a buck that spent most of 4 or 5 years in the beagle club enclosure. I could find him just about any time I wanted, but our intrepid hunters didn't even know that Bucky existed. He died of what sure as heck looked like chronic wasting disease even though the state says 'it is not here'.
