(Soon to be called Ice) raced out of his den and went to the prey pile, digging into the wildebeest and grabbing some of the juiciest pieces for himself.

Shrike's Wing skipped up to the other New-Colors, she knew a few of them and made a small stride next to Jasper, who she was familiar enough with for them both to exchange a friendly nod.

Jasper kept on hauling the wildebeest back to camp, only vaguely acknowledging Shrike. As they made their way into camp, Jasper helped place the all prey they caught earlier in the center of camp for later consumption. He wagged his tail proudly as he looked at the camp's stocked food.

Leopard's Bite moved to her feet at the arrival of the hunting party, her eyes landed on Flame and she trotted over to her, catching the only slightly different scent of Soot Troop hanging around a few of the dogs around her. "Flame, I see you ran into Soot Troop dogs, why have the left their post to come here?" She asks firmly, as she eyed up the Soot Troop dogs.

Raptor had never been fond of Leopard’s Bite. The bossy know-it-all. He thought.

"They say that they have a New-Color who needs to see you." She growled

"Yes, I'm here to see you. I'm asking to use my right as a female New-Color to look into other packs, I want to scout out Splash Pack and see what they have to offer me." Shrike's Wing spoke immediately after Flame, giving the Pack Organizer no time to speak to Flame. Leopard's Bite narrowed her eyes just a bit at the New-Color, she remembered her. It was Shrike's Wing, the one Settled Dust had a sign about this sort of thing. "Yes, that is quite fine New-Color. If Flame here isn't too tired, she'll lead you to the nearest Splash Troop, the other Soot Troop dogs will follow. May Cagn guide your path." She spoke in her leader tone, she wouldn't mind sending Shrike awat, she was too fiery for her liking and maybe a Splash Pack female will take her place.

Jasper gave a small laugh at the gluttonous pup "You might want to slow down there Pup or you might get a bellyache." He said with a kind woof.

Flame nodded "This way." She growled and trotted out of camp, heading toward the nearest Splash Troop

Shrike followed next to her, which was a bit disrespectful, as a New-Color she should follow behind Flame but she was just too excited to be seeing a new territory. She heard about the cool muddy terrain and couldn't wait to sink her paws in it, she knew that Spark Pack dogs found the mud gross but she was practically skipping in a pup like sense of wonder.

Ripple chuckled, clearly amused. "Flame, calm down. All New Colors are cheeky, easily put in their place. I'll go to Splash Pack with you."

Shrike huffed, the fur along her spine puffed out in defense. "Why should you care how I act, you're just dropping me off at Splash Pack!" She growled back.

Jasper had only been a Pup a month ago and would be lying if he said he didn't miss being the first to eat what came into the camp "Enjoy it Pup, you look like you'll be a New-Color in no time and once that comes around you'll be dragged out on patrols and hunts before you can even think about nawing on a wildebeest." Jasper tells him a bit wistfully.

Ripple chuckled, clearly amused. "Flame, calm down. All New Colors are cheeky, easily put in their place. I'll go to Splash Pack with you."

Shrike ears flattened just a bit at her out burst, she wasn't a fan of Flame for how snappy she was but she did respect Ripple so she did her best to tone down her excitement.
