Peter Cing Start

Peter pulled his truck up the street curb and put it in park and shut off the engine. He sat there for a moment thinking to himself then looked down at the hand gun in his holster. He took the weapon out and opened the passenger side glove compartment and put the gun in then shut it. " I don't think I'll need you this time" he said to himself. He unbuckled his seatbelt and stepped out of the truck and stretched his arms and legs. He looked around the town he stopped in then put his hands in his pockets and headed down the sidewalk.

Artemis followed closely behind Amy as she was lead into her bedroom. She watched Amy eagerly to see what would happen; eyes sparkling with excitement. "I will." She whispered softly, comforted by the thought.
Amy closed the door which automatically locked, then returned the key to her locket. "Just know, though, that it can only be opened from the outside," she advised. "There are enough supplies for up to three days, but hopefully you'll never have to remain in there for more than one." She turned off the light and closed the door before heading downstairs to finally open the shop.

Artemis was suddenly struck with the realization of what it would be like to be locked in such a tight space unable to get out. Pushing away the thought, she followed downstairs.

Simeon got up very slowly, and closed the car and locked it. He let Brooklyn lead the way to the room.

Brooklyn peered down momentarily at the receipt held in her hand before leading Simeon to the door of their room. She used a key to unlock the handle, and held it open for Simeon to walk in.

Amy, noticing her guest's silence, added, "It's roomier than it looks. There's a cot and a few shelves which hold everything as well as an overhead light and some lanterns." She hadn't actually let Artemis look around there a minute ago because she needed to get downstairs, but she was sure Artemis' opinion of it would improve when she did.
Once in the kitchen, Amy hurried from one thing to the other in order to open up.

Artemis nodded, but was not convinced. Once downstairs she looked around the room filled with tables, hoping to find something that needed to be done, but when she didn't returned to Amy in the kitchen. "What can I help with?" She inquired.
