"What do you think?" She questioned harshly without expecting him to reply. She glared at Zaxson, silently telling him that he should not come closer as he reentered her cell, before resting her chin on her knees and turning to stare blankly at the dull walls of her cell. Her anger kept her awake, along with the fear of being watched by Zaxson and security cameras while she slept. Her unconsciousness could be thought of as an advantage for those who saught her harm.

"Judging by your delightful response, you did indeed hear it all," Jaxson said grimly. He Activated the shield then turned around to face her. "How are you feeling after Vanessa pumped you full of drugs?" He asked.
 
(I knew that, so why did I say that?)
"Why? Why do YOU want to know?" Artemis demanded, wanting to know his true motivation behind the question.

"I want to know, because one: I'd like to know that you aren't going to die, and two: because Vanessa gave you a very large dose of both medicines. I'm extremely surprised that you're even awake and able to talk normally," Jaxson replied.


(Same reason why I typed Ryker, and then Ione, I guess XD )
 
"If you really must know I feel like someone just ran me over, with a dumptruck." Artemis stated without humor.

"Sounds about right," Jaxson said, "Dr. Mythe was certainly generous with his injections."

Vanessa rode the elevator in silence, going up to Level 02. She headed for her office, fuming inside about the past hour's events all the way.

Artemis waited in the hope that Jaxson would soon leave, but sighed irritably when he didn't. "What do you want?" She asked harshly, hoping that he would take the hint and leave. She was beginning to feel groggy, and didn't want to fall asleep while Jason was still in the room.

Jaxson looked at her, a thin smile on his lips. She was talking, that was a good sign. Perhaps, with the help of that dose of morphine, she'd be loose lipped and ready for confessions. He kneeled down so one knee was on the cold ground, the other he used as a support for his arm. "How about you tell me how you got here?" He asked, looking her in the eyes.
 
"I rode here on a unicorn." Artemis stated, looking Jaxson straight in the eye with a disinterested expression on her face. She hoped the quicker she could make her point across that she wouldn't give Jaxson straight answers, the sooner he would leave.

"Duly noted," Jaxson said, slightly amused. Either drugs were settling in finally, or she was trying to steer the conversation away from what was important. "Now, what is your full name and you parent's names?" He asked.
