Entering the open cell, Jaxson kneeled and set her down gently on the cot. "You're going to be fine, everything will be fine," he said calmly. He stood up and went to the doorway, watching and waiting for Vanessa to return.
---------
Vanessa, meanwhile, continued finding what she needed in the immediate. She slammed the drawer of syringes shut and grabbed a packet of needles from an open bin on the counter, then, grabbing the bottles she had set out on her desk, hurried out of the room and to the elevator.

Every second felt like hours as Vanessa waited for the ding that would indicate she was at level 01. Finally, the doors opened and she hurried out, down the hall, and along a corridor of cells. She had glimpsed the file when it first came through so she knew which cell Artemis would be in.

Artemis struggled relentlessly to breath without success. Her eyebrows furrowed at her agony, pain written across her face with her perseverance.

Lauren wasn't sure what say but replied simply,"Thank You"she pulled her hair back into a ponytail and walked away toward her car.
(XD not sure what to say."Oh, hi random stranger I just met in the park, my name is Lairen want to go have a coffe?"LOL XD)

(I...Don't know what to say either. :p )

Aya went to sit down on a bench and closed her eyes to rest a little in the sun. She slightly wanted a longer break, but she knew she couldn't get it. She had to go to work tomorrow no matter what. And heck, it was starting to become her only reason for staying alive.

While Artemis was busy dying, Mythe casually walked back to his lab with all of his needles.
"Too bad I only got to the venom...Couldn't even test anything." He muttered under his breath, but shrugged off the thought. There were plenty of animals to test this stuff on, and humans as well, if he felt so bold as to do so. Of course, if the drug was not related to clone controlling or torture, he didn't openly use it for everyone to know about.

Entering his lab, he neatly set the needles on the corner of a table and went over to his microscope to study. He still needed to make money, so he was always working towards curing something. Currently he was trying to figure out Diabetes. The genetic kind, of course. There was no helping the people who just didn't eat right.

Vanessa strode down the hall, watching for number 13 above the doors. Unnecessarily, it would seem, since Jaxson was standing in the doorway waiting.
"How is she?" Vanessa asked, even as she pushed past him and could see for herself.
"Not good," Jaxson said, his tone full of worry.
Vanessa's eyes scanned the girl, sensing immediately the extremeness of the situation. "Take this," she told her brother as she shoved three bottles into his hand. She fixed a needle to one of the syringes and stuck it in the bottle of Benadryl Jaxson now held, then went over to Artemis. Placing her hand on the girl's shoulder to hold her still, she then injected the shot into her arm.

Artemis had become silent when Vanessa entered the room, her body motionless and her breathing ceased. Unmoving as the shot was injected into her arm, a few seconds passed silently as the medicine began to course through her veins. Then sudddenly, Artemis' eyes flung open and she jerked upright, gasping desperately for air as it began to fill her lungs once more.

(You're so mean )

Vanessa stepped back and handed Jaxson the empty syringe. "Good, it's working. And fast," she said happily.
"How much did you give her??" Jaxson asked as he watched the reaction.
"A lot. Now, next," Vanessa held out her hand for another syringe, and when given it, she stuck the needle in and filled it from the second bottle. "That should be enough," she said, holding the syringe up so she could see the measurement.
Jaxson didn't usually question his sister's doctoring skills, but after reading the labels of the bottles she had selected, he decided to. "You're giving her morphine? Right after that huge dose of Benadryl?? Is there a possibility that that could kill her?"
Vanessa shot him a glare then went to inject the morphine shot. "Yes, I suppose it could, but it's the best chance she's got after Dr. Mythe tried to kill her," she snapped. "Were you aware of how much venom he gave her? That was enough to kill anyone. Lucky thing, she's not dead yet." Grabbing Artemis' shoulder to hold her still, she quickly injected the shot then stepped back. "Now, Artemis, if you start feeling very groggy, don't fret. You're not dying. If you pass out, we're not going to call you dead. This should ease the pain and you can sleep, okay?"

Artemis flinched as Venessa moved closer to give her the shot, still incoherent of what was happening around her. She felt her senses become numbed, but was glad to be temporarly relieved of some of the pain.

Jaxson went over to Vanessa and held out the third bottle. "You want this?" He asked.
Vanessa looked down at it, then up at him. "Ah, no. Thanks. That was backup," she explained. She took the bottles and remaining syringes and stuck them in her pocket. "How are you feeling?" She asked Artemis, watching her face closely for any signs of change.
