Artemis trembled stepping out from the elevator, and seeing the door of the room she knew quite too fondly. She knew she couldn't surrender immediately, anyone having ever met her knew that she almost never gave in meaning that if she gave Mythe the information immediately he would know she was lying. She knew she had to endure significant pain before Mythe would be able to believe her.

Jaxson rapped on the door with his knuckles, then waited, listening for any sounds on the inside of the room. "We're still a little bit early, so he may not even be here yet," he told her.

Artemis almost wished that he wasnt, but she knew even if he wasn't here, her fears would have to be eventually faced.
 
Mythe saw the door handle move and knew that that was probably Jaxson coming in with Artemis. He was glad they were early this time.

As Artemis was brought inside she stopped, and stiffened at the sight of the doctor .

"Good to see there wasn't another problem with time." Mythe said simply. "I've changed the things I'll be using for her, so she probably won't have a reaction like she did yesterday."
 
Artemis let out a sigh of slight relief. But still, whatever Mythe was about to give her was most likely more painful than what she was given the day before.
