Artemis backed deeper into the darkest corner of the cell as Mythe entered. She watched both men closely, but Mythe with more trepidation. His voice was low, but she thought Mythe spoke her brother's name. She quickly came to the conclusion she had misheard him, hearing what she wanted to instead of what was true.
Mythe whispered something inaudible to whoever was outside the door, and a boy with a slightly high voice replied with a "Yes, sir. "
Caden stepped into the cell, and immediately looked to Artemis, though quickly glanced back down at the floor.

Mythe took Caden by his arm to walk him closer to Artemis, so she could fully see him.
"Artemis, meet Caden; your brother."

"Yeah, well. Don't get used to it." He warned playful, shyly turing away from Aya with a smiling expression.

Aya chuckled, "Okay, I promise I won't get used to it." She replied rather sarcastically with a joking eye roll. She hadn't really seen this side of Devine yet, but it sure made everything more friendly and less awkward.

Mercy and Cassie stayed to finish their drinks, chatting with one another for a while before heading out to see more of the city together

Timothy jogged along the sidewalk to get to his car in time, which he had parked just a little too far from his current location.
As he nearly raced over to a little black Prius, he pulled a black car key out of his man-purse and quickly unlocked his car, climbing in and looking at his watch as he turned the car on.
"Not late yet!" He stated to himself hopefully, and pulled out into the road to head over to a meeting.

(I'll wait for silkie before replying.)

(I'll have Max send him in if that's fine with you both)

"No, I don't think so," Amy said worriedly. She nervously bit her nail as she looked around the room once more. "I got home a few minutes ago and the shop is complete empty. And th-there's a pool of blood in the kitchen and—" she stopped there, on the verge of tears, letting Jaxson think what he wanted to.
-
Jaxson fidgeted with his watch as he listened anxiously. He was already headed for Max's office before she finished. "I'll find it what I can and get back to you," he promised before hanging up to quickly call Max.
-
Amy let out a sigh she hadn't been aware she was holding in. There wasn't any outside thing she could do about the situation for now, so she went to find rags and a bucket to clean up the blood. It was unnerving her and was way too much of a distraction to do anything else until it was gone.
(where is Artemis' cell exactly? I can't find the post)

"Get down there ASAP, and no questions," Max said firmly. Pocketing his transceiver, he went to check on the cameras and keep an eye on things.
-
Jaxson frowned slightly as he considered Max's command. As soon as the backup guard arrived, he headed for the cell he had been told to go to. Word still hadn't reached him that Artemis was recaptured, much less in the building, so when hearing her name when he neared startled him.

(There. He's in earshot and only getting closer.)

Artemis immediately raised her head in recognition of the voice that sounded outside the cell door. She glanced from Han to Mythe, wondering if they heard her brother speak, or if her mind was uniting reality and her deepest desires as one. Artemis hesitated to believe Mythe, but eventually the joy of seeing her brother overcome whatever fear she had of losing him a second time. She fled to him, lifting a trembling hand to brush across his cheek. It was him. He was real, not just a figment of her imagination. She held him in her tender embrace with all eagerness, not breaking contact with him so that she could continually be reminded that he was really here, with her. "Caden," she hardly breathed, tilting her head slightly back so that she could look up into his eyes, "you're alive."

(sorry, peeps, for the delay. You'd think with it being summer, time would be on my side more, but it would appear otherwise.)
(Same for me. Even with the time I have to rp I feel I either forget to answer posts, or don't know what to write. My mind is kinda all over the place.)
