Aya stood outside and listened to one of the longer voicemails she had received from a coworker; the one she had told to fill in for her.

As she listened, her concerns grew. Not only did he sound rather grave and disappointed, which was very different from his usual tone, but he was also talking about how a surgery went wrong-And immediately Aya called him back before she listened to anything else.

Her call was quickly picked up, and she gave a slight sigh of relief.

"Okay, I didn't listen to the entire voicemail. But I heard that a surgery went wrong, and I'd like to know what happened." She said quickly, wanting an explanation. When somebody dies in a surgery in your hospital, sometimes that could have complications. People weren't fond of you accidentally killing their family members.

"Yes, well, I just preformed a surgery on Mr. Forrest. He was an old man, with a small expectation of surviving without damage. It was a large tumor, on the frontal lobe. It was likely that he wouldn't be able to function after the surgery.
I made a quick change to say that I was the doctor designated to preform the surgery on Mr. Forrest, but the records don't have that. They say that you were still the designated surgeon, and after there were complications in the surgery, the family is blaming you, Aya. Since we can't prove much with our records, we could really be in some trouble if they sue...Which they want to."

Aya cursed. This was such a terrible situation, and she knew how sue-happy people could get.
"Alright, I'll be right there. Gah, I'm so stupid!" She hung up the phone and calmly walked back inside, but she was truthfully upset. What if this poor old man dying was pretty much her fault?

"There's an emergency at work," Aya told Devine simply once she approached him, but with an agitated voice, "I need to go, and then I'll probably just head over to my house. Just in case I have the time to search for the man you're looking for, and I find anything, could I have your number so I can call you?"
At Aya's request Devine searched for a piece of paper and pen. He hesitated a moment before writing his phone number down. He hoped she would not betray him. Handing her the note, he looked to her more warmly. "You don't know where you are, would you like me to help you out of the alleyway?"

"I know that they loved me. They did all that they could for me, and I miss them...
But you took them from me...You killed them." Caden said boldly, in a cold tone. He almost walked closer, but Mythe quickly walked over to the two and stood between them, facing Artemis.

"Artemis, unfortunately Caden knows the truth about what you've done." Mythe told her, pretending to act like he believed she killed her own parents,
"Now that you've reunited with your brother, I'm going to have them both leave so we can have a little heart-to-heart talk."

Mythe looked over to Han, who got the message and led Caden away from Artemis, out of the cell.
Artemis began to speak when Myth spoke for her. "Caden, wait!" She pleaded, looking ahead to see her brother leaving the cell. Then the realization overcame her being, she was alone, with Mythe.

(I guess I ought to say something finally :caf )

Jaxson stepped aside so as to not impede Han and Caden's path. He had been listening quietly from a few feet away where he had postitioned himself to guard, as Max had instructed. With Caden's back to him, he looked the boy(?) over curiously.

"Well, wasn't that nice? Reuniting with your brother like that? Must have been a relief." Mythe told Artemis in a sarcastic tone. "I've been the one taking care of him, making sure he didn't end up getting killed. So, what do you have to say?"

Aya took the note and neatly folded it up, placing the small piece of paper in her pocket.
"Yes, actually, I'd really appreciate that. I don't want to end up passed out in somebody's car again." Aya stated with a chuckle.

"If you think that I'm jealous of your position to Caden, your wrong." Artemis challenged boldly. "You are either attempting to fool me or yourself to think that your better than me. But I know you well enough to see past your lies. The only reason you've cared for Caden is because you need him. You deceive him to think that you love him to keep him from realizing that I am the one who truly loves him, because if he knew that you wouldn't be able to use for your own advantage, against me."

Devine forced a smile for Aya's sake, although he couldn't understand how she thought of that as funny. Taking out his jacket from the closet he quickly pulled his arms through and met Aya at the door.

"Oh, I don't love him, you've got that right. I mean, if you thought that this relationship I have with your brother was an honest one, you would have proven to be more stupid than even I could imagine." Mythe admitted to Artemis freely with a tone of indifference,
"And the fact that you love him so loyally, and so selflessly, is what makes this work."

Mythe approached Artemis more closely, to look her in the eyes and become more stern.
"Do you want to lose Caden again, Artemis? What if this time, it was real? What if this time, perhaps, it can't be reversed?"

Aya opened the door for Devine and allowed him to walk out before she followed and closed the door behind herself.
"Since I admit I have no idea where to go, lead the way." Aya stated simply and waited patiently for Devine to begin walking.

Artemis raised her head as Mythe stood closer, keeping her fear of him from his knowledge. "What are you implying, Mythe?" She demanded fiercely.
