Artemis immediately raised her head in recognition of the voice that sounded outside the cell door. She glanced from Han to Mythe, wondering if they heard her brother speak, or if her mind was uniting reality and her deepest desires as one. Artemis hesitated to believe Mythe, but eventually the joy of seeing her brother overcome whatever fear she had of losing him a second time. She fled to him, lifting a trembling hand to brush across his cheek. It was him. He was real, not just a figment of her imagination. She held him in her tender embrace with all eagerness, not breaking contact with him so that she could continually be reminded that he was really here, with her. "Caden," she hardly breathed, tilting her head slightly back so that she could look up into his eyes, "you're alive."
For just a moment, Caden let Artemis hug him. She was family, and he felt desperate for family right now...But he eventually pushed her away as he quickly recalled all that she had done to him and the people he had loved.

"Yeah, I'm alive." He muttered to her quietly, "But...But why do you suddenly care?"
His tone was suddenly stern and cold as he looked at Artemis with a mix of sadness and disgust.
"I don't remember you caring about family before. Why now? Are you finally lonely enough, with what you did? With what you did to me, to them?"
Caden had known this moment would come eventually, and so many things he wanted to say were left built up inside of him. But now he could say whatever he wanted to his sister. Somebody he wished he wasn't related to, or wasn't involved with.

"Now now, Caden. Be polite." Mythe told Caden, softly scolding him jokingly as he calmly looked at the scene with slight triumph. This was going to be much more fun than he had originally guessed.

"Caden," Artemis spoke gently, hesitating a moment to choose the correct words to express herself, "I've always cared, for you as an individual and for our family. I didn't choose their fate, that was decided before we all existed. You can't blame me for what happened." Artemis tone was quiet and loving, lacking any suggestion of anger for her brother's accusation. She looked to Caden as he pushed her from himself, fighting the urge to keep contact with him. Her green eyes shadowed with pain at his words, and despite her admission, guilt was evident in her expression.

Devine almost smiled again, but suddenly looked to the floor. Turning away from Aya it was obvious he was trying to shut someone out, not her, but the memories she awoke of his sister.

Seeing that that moment was over, and not wanting to bother Devine, Aya took out her phone and scrolled through her many notifications to pass the time. Seeing she had a few phone calls and voice mails, she decided that going outside and answering them would be best since they were from work.

"Hey, Devine, I'm going to go outside to reply to a few calls I got, okay? I'll be back in just a sec." Aya told Devine casually, walking over to the door and walking outside. She didn't know what these calls were about, and didn't know if there would be any confidentiality with it, so she preferred to just not have Devine overhear.

"I can blame you, I can completely blame you." Caden stated stubbornly, "I'm not stupid! You wanted to take control at just the right time, and get all of the recognition for being a hero once this was all over. It didn't work out, did it? That's why you're here, isn't it?" Caden looked down at his feet and sighed, sounding sad and disappointed.

"I've been here this whole time, Artemis. And this whole time, you never looked for me, did you? You didn't even think about where I was, while you were trying to live a real life out in the world, and I was stuck in here with nobody I know. The closest I've had to family here is Mr. Mythe. But compared to you, he's really the best I've ever had."
He looked up again to glare at her, but his expression eventually contorted to pure sadness. He just wished his life-their lives-hadn't turned out like this.

Artemis stood by quietly, giving Caden her full intention instead of interrupting him. "Caden, this is not about me." She defended gently after he finished. "I'm not the hero, you are. After the baby died nothing could bring us joy, until you joined our family. You meant everything to us. All that we did, was for you. When you grew up we knew we couldn't hide you from the C.M.I, becoming a spy was the only choice we could. After you and dad disappeared I ran away from home to come looking for you both. I became a spy so that I could look for you, but after finding the security footage of the C.M.I killing our father I was imprisoned." She stated honestly, inhaling deeply. "No matter how much the thought killed me, I had every right to believe you were dead. And after seeing how brutally they killed father, I knew I couldn't bear to see them do the same to you." Artemis suddenly looked to the floor, overcome with emotion of sorrow.

Devine hardly looked over his shoulder to see Aya as she addressed him, although he did nod his head in acknowledgement of her words.

Aya stood outside and listened to one of the longer voicemails she had received from a coworker; the one she had told to fill in for her.

As she listened, her concerns grew. Not only did he sound rather grave and disappointed, which was very different from his usual tone, but he was also talking about how a surgery went wrong-And immediately Aya called him back before she listened to anything else.

Her call was quickly picked up, and she gave a slight sigh of relief.

"Okay, I didn't listen to the entire voicemail. But I heard that a surgery went wrong, and I'd like to know what happened." She said quickly, wanting an explanation. When somebody dies in a surgery in your hospital, sometimes that could have complications. People weren't fond of you accidentally killing their family members.

"Yes, well, I just preformed a surgery on Mr. Forrest. He was an old man, with a small expectation of surviving without damage. It was a large tumor, on the frontal lobe. It was likely that he wouldn't be able to function after the surgery.
I made a quick change to say that I was the doctor designated to preform the surgery on Mr. Forrest, but the records don't have that. They say that you were still the designated surgeon, and after there were complications in the surgery, the family is blaming you, Aya. Since we can't prove much with our records, we could really be in some trouble if they sue...Which they want to."

Aya cursed. This was such a terrible situation, and she knew how sue-happy people could get.
"Alright, I'll be right there. Gah, I'm so stupid!" She hung up the phone and calmly walked back inside, but she was truthfully upset. What if this poor old man dying was pretty much her fault?

"There's an emergency at work," Aya told Devine simply once she approached him, but with an agitated voice, "I need to go, and then I'll probably just head over to my house. Just in case I have the time to search for the man you're looking for, and I find anything, could I have your number so I can call you?"

"I know that they loved me. They did all that they could for me, and I miss them...
But you took them from me...You killed them." Caden said boldly, in a cold tone. He almost walked closer, but Mythe quickly walked over to the two and stood between them, facing Artemis.

"Artemis, unfortunately Caden knows the truth about what you've done." Mythe told her, pretending to act like he believed she killed her own parents,
"Now that you've reunited with your brother, I'm going to have them both leave so we can have a little heart-to-heart talk."

Mythe looked over to Han, who got the message and led Caden away from Artemis, out of the cell.
