(Well, you let people call you Your Highness, so don't look at me like I'm weird.)(In your world, maybe.)
(He can try, amirite?)(So, Siméon, an assassin for the CMI, just happens to have all the medical supplies in his guest bathroom necessary for healing infected bullet wounds?)
(A sedative)
Jaxson didn't chuckle or even look amused with her comment. "You know why I'm here," he said solemnly. He nervously fingered he syringe in his pocket, thinking over everything even as he talked to her.
"But," Jaxson lowered his voice so the neighboring prisoners couldn't hear, "if you're up to it, I think I can get you out." He looked at her for a reply. Her face at the moment seemed to say she would be fine going right now to execution, and if that's what she wanted, then so be it. But if it could be helped, he was going to do his best.Artemis expression immediately become solemn. "I do." She didn't let her mind be invaded by her fears, reminding herself that her death was a sacrifice for many, and even death was not a cost too great for those lives.

Simeon nodded, and replied quickly "It is. I'm going to need to look at it. And it's going to sting." He turned around to find the liquids and creams necessary for healing it.
Jaxson didn't say anything, but taking what she said as confirmation that she would be willing, took out the handcuffs. "Turn around and go over there," he commanded, nodding to the far corner. He had checked the security cameras yesterday morning to see what part of the cell wasn't under surveillance, and it seemed the corner the camera was located in fit the bill.Artemis turned to Jaxson with big green eyes filled with intrigue as she nodded her head before turning away. "I'm scared." She admitted quietly. She had never expected to reveal what to her was an intimate secret, her fear an emotion she had been brought up to acknowledge as the trait of a coward. Her father had convinced Artemis that she was weak, and the only way for her to survive was to never express her fear of anyone, or anything. She couldn't help herself, couldn't keep her emotions hidden anylonger. With a deep sigh she knew she would never be as brave as she once hoped to be. Her father had been right all along. She was and always will be a coward.
Simeon didn't react. He had spotted a Mira in the backyard, it seemed to be hurt. He quickly drew his gun and prepared to go outside."This ain't my first rodeo." Brooklyn chuckled, but the truth of the words rang with hidden secrets of her past.
