Me this morning: OOH! A TURKEY EGG!

So. Looks like I am doing a turkey egg maybe? I don't even know if it's fertile LOL.

What is this ‘enough is enough’ that you talk of?
Enough is never enough!!

Every time, I’m happy with my flock! This time I was totally happy with my flock, then my 2 ladies went broody. I ignored them for a week or so, but then ‘somehow’ a pile of eggs ended up under them!

so day 10 just finished candling the Welsummer eggs and all 22 are fertile and developing nicely. These are from my flock, which helps that they are not shipped. Also i am now at 4200ft above sea level instead of over 5300 ft ASL so I am holding out hope for a good hatch

I wish I could find some Welsummer hatching eggs and get some to actually hatch. It is one breed I really want. I have tried 3 times with different sellers and never got any to hatch.

Day 20, one chick has already hatched! I just put them into lockdown yesterday and was shocked when I came down this morning to hear cheeping...lol. Two more of my own eggs to go and awaiting the next batch per post. Enough is never enough! Lost a young chicken to a Hawk again this week, so I just have to replace them constantly, she says to herself...
