I'd love to... I have the space, depends on if it overmates the hens. And on whether its daddy hates it.
I recently had to rehome a roo for those reasons. It always useful to have a new roo... but still.

Yes but silky chickens have rose type combs. And polish have little v combs. But legbars have reagular combs.

Oh thankyou! I just wish she was as cuddly as she looks! she either pecks me or runs away from me... and she takes no pride in her pretty feathers and enjoys coating them in dust and dirt and muck but she's an amazing mummy for sure. So patient!View attachment 2576250

If by “Regular” you mean single. Then yes.

And silkies should actually have walnut comb which are a mix of pea and rose. Though silkies with single have been seen more and more.

Pea and Rose are dominant which would cover up the single in a first gen cross and any chicks they had effect on.

Sulky’s chicks are really a mix of mixes, but just because it has Legbar wouldn’t cause comb growth. That would happen anyways no matter the breed.

Thats true but, there is a slight chance it could be growing more because of the legbar in it.
I have a silky barred rock mix thats comb grew faster then normal.
