Hi! We are on a homesteading journey as well! Right now we live right in the middle of town but still managed to get a little coop with 4 girls! We are also looking for land but the market where I’m at really stinks. Good luck to you!

Thank you. Same to you all. Hopefully you will find your forever land. I'm worried about the market as well,we have have someone coming to appraise our house. Once we get that we will be able to figure out how much and where we can get land. We plan on moving away from where we are currently. Some where close ,but away from everything and everyone. We have young adult kids so don't want to go across country just yet.

If understood correctly, you have a total of 10sq foot for the coop and run.
That is not nearly enough space for 13 chickens. A little tikes house is under 9sq ft. I don't see how 13 hens will fit in that.
Do you intend to sell some of the birds?

No, we have 104 square feet with the coop and the run. The nesting boxes will sit beside the coop with access from the coopinstead of on the windows. It's on a platform so they won't lose the ground space of where the coop sits.

Photos of progress have been added. Not sure on tikes dimensions, but coop and run total 104 Sq ft. The coup sits on a platform, so we wouldn't lose the space underneath the coup. And the nesting boxes will be placed next to the coup with access from the coup instead of attaching it to one of the windows. We just put it on the platform next to it. Well, we will be putting on them platform next to it. I can get the dimensions probably tomorrow for the actual coup itself. In the area underneath the platform underneath the nesting boxes and the coup will actually be enclosed On all sides, except for one that way, they can get out still and go into the run, but also instead of having their feed and water. Taking up space in the coup. It'll be right under meet the coop under the platform if that makes sense.
