🔥☣️🏒The Sin Bin🏒☣️🔥

It is weird to me to see those that would likely be at high risk for serious complications to covid-9 acting like they are immune from it.

I wear a mask more to protect those at risk more than to protect myself
Exactly! I've had the conversation about asymptomatic transmission at least a dozen times now with people who think it's such a PAIN to wear a mask. It is, but it's better than worrying it could be you who infected someone who became ill and maybe even died. I have plenty of things to feel guilty about (mainly from my younger days LOL) without adding the possibility of killing a cashier who's just trying to make a living.

I think people either don't comprehend asymptomatic transmission, or don't care, or think it's other people, not them.

Hey Kathy, I could use some encouragement. The smallest member needs to work twice as hard to be at the top. Napping takes a lot of time out of my life. Plus waiting at the Dr., office.

Thought she was going to do my procedure :) ) Instead after much sitting and waiting, I was allowed in where she talked to me. Ended up putting me down for July 10th, in the hospital instead of IN her office. Thanks now I have so much more time to worry.

:hugs Sorry. Whatever is going on, waiting and worrying make everything seem harder. We'll be with you in spirit and hope all is well.

I realize though why she put me down to have the procedure done at the hospital. They will accept medicare. The building she is IN, DOES NOT!!

Thankfully the urologist I have been seeing for 20 years accepts whatever medicare will pay him and I only get billed for lab tests not done in the network.

We had the same situation a few years ago when DH had cataract surgery. Irritating but sometimes you do what you have to do.

I had my cataract surgery in a facility my eye doctor partly owned with another doctor. I think he accepted what Medicare paid which was little and medicare paid for a pair of glasses .up to $ 28. I believe. Thought I would need glasses but years and years later, I still don't. That was because I had near vision in one eye and far vision in the other. I asked to have lens for each other in that fashion. Except dr. goofed that up. He put the wrong lens in each eye, so I had to change what I used to read with etc.

For the actual surgery, I was just given eye drops and one small Valium. I was totally aware of what was going on, and could watch it on the screen in front of me. The only annoyance was putting the eye drops in several times a day. Also for a couple of days I could feel the lens moving from side to side in bright light. I forgot what dr. said that was from but, it did go away.

Same doctor did one cataract for my brother (diabetic, other health problems) and somehow nicked the retina. Dr.sent him to a retinalogist and he caused a small hole in the retina. Finally my brother's regular physician. recommended he see someone else. THAT someone did his best but, couldn't correct the damage. My brother has ended up with being legally blind in one eye. In our state he is still allowed to drive. He still is very wary about having the second cataract removed. I don't blame him.

I guess what I am trying to bring out, if you don't have any major health concerns, I think the surgery is pretty much routine and safe. The eye doctor bragged to me that he does cataract surgery every Wednesday morning - 30 cataract surgeries in a row. No wonder he gets goofed up.

My neighbor's blind brother - had to have cataract surgery . I asked why, since it wouldn't help his vision any. He said decaying cataracts can cause more eye problems. Who knew ??
