Finally having my first proper hatch along! Astronomy theme 🪐✨

Pics
Some good news, Ursa survived the night and the orange fluid has receded and now there’s just a red scab/lump however she’s still attached to the egg.. not sure how to proceed it seems like a bad idea to pull the shell off
See if you can crush the shell so there is less of it to drag around. The umbilical should fall off soon but dragging a shell around could tear it.

I did do that and got all the shell off, the umbilical cord was completely dry so cut it with scissors, didn’t bleed at all and she seems like she’s doing much better without the shell to drag around

C'mon baby Ursa - you got this. I believe in you. 🐣🐥🐤

Ursa seems to be doing well, she has a bit of a splayed leg (from I think malposition in the egg) but she’s now walking about and pecking things, umbilical hernia seems quite dried up but still protruding a bit
I am hopeful she will pull through

Pics of the fluffy babies
Orion has a little bit of pasty butt that resulted in a small bit of cloaca sticking out but I’m hopeful it will resolve

I really hope so too. Glad she is brighter this morning. Your new brood are gorgeous.

I moved Ursa in with the others for the night, she was getting stir crazy and lonely in the incubator
Hopefully the others won’t pick on her in the morning
Orion still has some minor prolapse issues and is separated for the night, hopefully it gets better by morning
The last two eggs comet and Marsie still haven’t pipped so I don’t know whether or not they will hatch but we’ll see
