except for the youngsters! Oh to be young and not worry about the snow…
…then more snow! And where are the newest gals?

By midweek Niamh was
feeling much better and even the snow didn’t stop her.
… and it was
back to old habits, and stressing her poor Hooman.

Perspective is everything –
in the grand scheme of things....
It’s a
lovely sight seeing one’s hens happily pecking around in the dirt, so peaceful.
And watching them in a
dust bath is also very relaxing to watch.

Cozy Chickens has a
new model of radiant heater, TOMTE hopefully will let us all know how it performs.
It’s hard
missing a beloved pets…

There is something really nice about a lovely
Rooster tail, even when sleeping.
It’s a
learning curve for everyone it seems, even a young Rooster.
Shehnai is growing to be a
good boy I feel, he makes sure everyone is accounted for at night.
Yes I agree he is a
very good boy! Everyone is learning as they go.

Suggestions regarding new housing for the school chicks were tossed around.
The school chicks seems to be having a run of
coccidiosis, a discussion on medication was held. Hopefully they get better fast.

Snow has been the theme for many here on FBA, my lot are wimps and don’t like the snow.

humour on the part of poor Laverne and her chicken legs J

two fors from earlier in the week. Petra is growing up.
Trying out some ideas to keep the chooks
warm this winter, this seems to help.
