🔥☣️🏒The Sin Bin🏒☣️🔥

Was attempting to remove my left forefinger with a bread knife a sin or just a case of extreme dumbass? :barnie

Just reread some of the earlier posts about others trip to sobriety and need to share. Nearly lost the Princess because of my alcoholism. Couldn't let that happen. 8/20/'92 is my sobriety date. Second greatest gift she ever gave me.

Oh no, are you okay? Do you need stitches?

11939 days sober! :wee :highfive: :yesss:

What was the greatest gift?

@pennyJo1960 let the mower throw a little poo.
Just catching up ... but my brother did that with a snow-blower ... and shattered a basement window!. They couldn't find the offending tidbit until it thawed completely ... when "offending" became "offensive!"

That’s very scary! 😱 I hope you didn’t lose the bread! Darn good thing you were sober, that could’ve been a horror film scene!

Next time, use a straight-bladed knife - less painful than a serrated one (in my experience ).

Hopefully, you’re right handed so the essentials can be taken care of :p

I don't know about the stitches? Approximated the sides of the wound with tape. I'm a quick healer so all should be okay. Greatest gift was the creation of the family and a place to belong.

Mr Porky, Mr Porky I am ambidextrous. :p

Just catching up on all the shenanigans!!!

Good grief, George....hope your finger is healing well!!!:hugs I did that once with an 'old timer' pocket knife...extremely sharp, nearly cut half way through my left fore finger while skinning a rabbit, cutting its back legs off at the hock, one swift upper cut pull....razor sharp or serrated doesn't matter, they both make you bleed and hurt. :barnie
