Yeah - the lack of grass etc means that it’s rare to raise sheep and thus culturally it’s not in the African diet. You guys don’t exactly munch on a leg of lamb too often either - i find that interesting but not sure of the rationale :confused:
I love lamb, especially braised lamb shanks!
 
Poor pidgies. :hit I look at pigeons so much differently now.

I know, I don't like it. They're a major problem though. They eat all the food and I've noticed a few that were sickly looking aren't in the flock now. It's the same wild flock coming back daily. They were thin and appeared to be weak, now they're gone so I'm concerned they will pass something to my chickens.

I added stuff to the water to try to help them out and keep my chickens healthy but they gotta go. Or I have to buy pigeon food which was a thought as well. I could put it out front.

He's really only after the birds that look sick, but we're hoping the hunting will keep them away for a bit.
